Here's a mix of them critters

Bluejay

All in a day's work, old "Bluejay" is resting after hours of playing with "Ben" the belted calf. Ben, rejected by his mom, and a house cow, thinks Blue is his mother. You should see them sleeping by the wood stove.

Zane is Home

"Zane" is home! My girlfriend had allowed him to go on a free lease, yes with written contract to care, trim feet, schedule of feeding and such for a year. If violated, horse was to be returned at their cost. Needless to say, not matter what type of research you do - you are not prepared for the outcome. Feet not done, couldn't keep the horse, had no way to trailer back to farm. And then thought I should pay them boarding costs after they called to return, when they broke the lease. Well he is back and happy, under weight, but free ranging with Duke, CC, George, the cows and dogs.
